Description

an attachment will be uploaded and appears in roundcube/temp directory but will occasional not be attached to the e-mail. the attachment will then last forever in roundcube/temp directory. this happens only with the new larry-skin, I can't reproduce this with the default skin. I tested it with the following browser Safari 5.1.6 (7534.56.5), Google Chrome 20.0.1132.47, Internet Explorer 8.

This happens when there's more or just one file attached to the message?

It happens with one and multiple files... it doesn't matter.

  • Resolution set to duplicate
  • Status changed from new to closed

In any case, I think this is a duplicate of #1488422

I don't think so. It happens only in 0.8-rc AND with "larry"-skin enabled. I can't reproduce this with default skin enabled. And don't understand my wrong: that's not happens ones a day or so. It happens every three mails or so. I can reproduce this without problems in minutes.. but at the moment I can't find why this happens...

I'm unable to reproduce. Any errors in log? Did you try with disabled all plugins?

I'm having an issue with a specific .doc file not being attached (the upload throbber is in a constant spin).

  • this happens with either classic or larry skin
  • happens in IE9 or latest firefox
  • happens for only this specific .doc file while other .doc files (or any other file types) are uploaded correctly
  • I see no error in my syslog
  • no file in my roundcube temp directory

It is not exactly like this issue nor like #1488422. How can I troubleshoot this further? Should I file a separate ticket for it?

PS: unfortunately, I cannot provide the specific file as a test sample as it contains sensitive data. I can co-operate by testing and providing logs though. Let me know.

...I also tried disabling all plugins. To no avail :/

@klonos: you can open a new ticket or use mailing list. Does this filename contains any non-ascii characters? Is there an error in Roundcube logs? Is there a javascript error in browser console? What's server response look like (use Firebug or sth)? Without these information we won't help you.
