sending instead of saving

Description
I use 0.4.2 with near 3500 users.
My users tell me that sometimes the messages being written are not saved in the drafts but are sent in their current state to the recipient. I observed myself this problem by writing an email to a nonexistent user. I received a SMTP error message rather than a notification of the backup of my message in the drafts.

Please, try with 0.5. Describe you environment more precissely. Unable to reproduce.

Is this happen on automatic draft save or when clicking on Save draft button? How about 0.5-beta?
