r3971 follow-up Options Icon misplaced in msg list column header

the column problem addressed in r3971 is solved after applying the patches, also seems to solve the nasty "No messages found" issue

anyway, in r3971 affected accounts, the column option icon, usually placed on most left position is now somewhere in the middle between the column headers above the msg list

apears to me it is forced _before_ FROM column, means when changing the order from FROM,SUBJECT,... to SUBJECT,FROM,... it sticks to the FROM column

Are you talking about columnpicker.gif image? It's always displayed in threads column. So, when you move this column the icon will be moved too.

Check with 0.4.2, if this still isn't working for you, describe problem more precissely. Describe your environment, config and steps to reproduce. With this info you can reopen the ticket.

as I said before I patched what bumps my version to the latest right

anyway, there is no such configurable threads column, look at defaults for $rcmail_configlist_cols?

furthermore, I can drag the threads column to the most left position (and it stays there) but that renders the SUBJECT column to be empty

No, you were talking about [614c642a]. You didn't say you are using trunk (you've set 0.4.1 as version). So, threads column exists, but it's not just described in config. Are you using default skin? What do you have in list_cols (in database for this account). Please, try with new account (or with emptied preferences). How about environment? What browser? Screenshots?
