The previous version looks better - the folder icons fits to select and threads icons, now it's a mix of views. And the plugin folderbuttons is not working now...

Plugins must be changed and the work on messages list buttons is in progres.

the red buttons looked nice. when you will change them all the mail view will look like a big gray stone - a good theme for mourning, but this is my opinion.

I don't know what are your plans, but if the new bar under mail list will stay with this icons like now, you could bring back the previous icons under mailbox list.

I've planned to move select and threads icons (actions) into popup, but... This actions are more often used than folder actions, so maybe it's better to have them visible to save one click.

I remove cache and i saw that the icons are no red, but gray... now its only selecting mail in red color. Maybe you could add a feature that user/admin can select color theme (gray, red, blue?). I could affect on mailbox/mail selecting and folder/mail icons (maybe even on bars). What do you think about that?

You can create a skin with other color scheme. Then users could select a skin. I don't see a reason to include color scheme logic into core.

I think that RC should have skins other then default, that could be supported by RC team. Making skins that have other colors the is not to much work for you. I don't say it should be done now.
When you see on Theme Releases forum there is always something wrong, so I don't install/use other skins then default and I won't do this until a skin have your support, because when you make change to RC, other then default skin won't work for couple of days/weeks.

We decided that the icons should remain at the current positon. About more skins, we have no time to maintain more skins, maybe after 1.0 release... ;)

I agree that skins should not be maintained by core developers. But i've always thought the default skin has some strange choices. One of them is the very harsh red for selected messages (and other list objects). In interface design red is usually a warning color. RC even uses that itself in the notification dialogs. Red is an error dialog.
I would personally welcome a change from that red to something more subtle. Even the dark grey of the folder select would be better than the harsh red.

Screenshot, please. What browser?
