Subtle indicator of new/unread messages in collapsed thread

Description
When using the new threaded view, and a thread is collapsed, there is almost no indication of whether a new or unread message is inside the group (just a subtle underline). Someone could respond to a conversation, and the user would be unaware of their response if the thread is collapsed.
Perhaps the latest message in the conversation should be the top of the thread group and embolden the group with a blue unread icon like a normal unread message.

You can set unreadchildrenicon in skin's "messages" object. We'll not change this in default skin.
