Description
Hi Devs
I've already (for internal purposes) created a debian-compliant roundcube package. It places all the files in reasonable places in the filesystem, and automatically builds extra packages for extra skins.
I would like to work with you to get this code (which is entirely self-contained in a $ROOT/debian/ sub-dir) merged into mainline, so that building a debian package would be a simpler process in the future.
Are you interested in this, and if so, how can we proceed?

"later" does not mean "after 0.5". It means "we don't know when, but it's not urgent nor very important". Of course we'll accept patches.

Ah, I see.
Well I'll work on a patch then. Should I attach it to this ticket, or post it somewhere on a mailing list?

debian already has an actively maintained roundcube package: http://packages.debian.org/roundcube

This is a brand new development, which is not present in debian stable, nor was it present last time I checked.
It's good news though! I guess this ticket can be closed then

Am I to understand that this is being postponed until some time after version 0.5? Isn't that likely to take years?
I'm very much willing to help, since it would save us quite a lot of time in rolling out roundcube when new versions are released.
If you will accept patches, or if I can get an SVN account, I will help improve roundcube with Debian .deb support.
