Signature missing with "Compose HTML messages" on Safari

Reported by: roymcmorran Owned by:
Priority: 5 Milestone: 0.3-stable
Component: User Interface Version: 0.2.2
Severity: normal Keywords:

Description

When using Safari browser (Mac or PC), if "Compose HTML messages" is enabled then the users signature does not get inserted into the compose textarea.

Note that it works as expected exactly once, but on subsequent attempts to compose a message it will omit the signature. So you have to send 2 messages to reproduce the problem.

Clearing the browser cache hides the problem temporarily, but the problem behavior always comes back after sending one email message.

Works fine on Firefox & IE, it's just Safari (tested Safari 3.1.2 and 4.0.1)

Thanks for checking Alec. Just to be clear, did you try it *twice* ? Because it works the first time. It's not until I try to compose a 2nd message that the sig is missing.

Yes. I didn't said that I was checking svn-trunk version.

Confirmed, I don't see the problem in trunk. Thanks!
