#1485651 closed Bugs (worksforme)

Centering text in TinyMCE produces extra characters that break in Evolution

Description

I've just tried the latest release of RoundCube (0.2 beta + security fix), and when I center the first line of an e-mail message (it happens to be italicized), it adds a few characters ("3D") just before the quote marks of the style attribute in the p tag.

This seems to render fine in Yahoo! mail, but it would not appear centered in Evolution. I don't know if this is a TinyMCE bug (that's what I think, at least), but it's there. I don't know if updating the embedded version will fix it or not.

Works for me with svn-trunk version. Check with that version. If issue still exists attach sample message and describe your environment (server, browser).

The issue is still here, but I fear that it may be Evolution and not RoundCube. I examined the source code from within TinyMCE and I could not find the erroneous characters, but they appeared again in Evolution. It renders properly in Yahoo! mail, so I am thinking this is a client-specific issue. If I find anything more, I'll either update this bug or open a new one.
