Description
Sending attachment does not work. Upload works just fine, but upon sending, RoundCube times out, I only see "Message sending..." (translated from German) in the header.
I already changed php.ini settings for filesize and timeout, but to no avail.
Any ideas?

I can reproduce the bug on at least 3 systems with different configurations. Serious enough for a bug?

If you want to report a bug, then you need to be more specific about your environment (PHP version, mail server, smtp configuration), what version of RoundCube do you run and if you see any errors in the log. We can't do anything for you just with the information "it does not work". Read Howto_ReportIssues first.

Of course. :-)
I tried the trunk version, to no avail.
PHP is 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.3
Mail server is 2.5.1-2ubuntu1.2
Browser is Windows XP, Firefox 3
Behaviour is reproducible
I found out the following in the logs:
[02-Dez-2008 16:25:30] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3974903 bytes) in /var/www/roundcube/program/lib/Net/SMTP.php on line 788
The files I tried to send have about 3-4 MB in total size. Is it correct that RoundCube needs that much memory for this single email? Upon setting memory limit to 64 MB in php.ini, it works... but I wonder if this is on purpose?

It's known issue. Duplicate of #1484660

This is not a support forum and sending attachments definitely works. Find help at http://roundcube.net/support
