"mark message" popup is not dismissed in some cases

There a couple of issues with current "mark message" popup.

1. In IE 7 it is not possible to dismiss it by clicking again on its button. In FF 3.0.1 and Opera 9.52 everything is fine.

2. In all three browsers the popup is not dismissed if I click on the message in the message list, it may like a feature, but if I click onto some other "non-active" space, the popup goes away.
