Can't see the new emails received in total (in French localization)

In french version, "mail sent" and "new mail" is "Messages envoyés" and "Messages reçus" which is very long. I think it's not a good solution to extend the box because it's for everybody even if it's the same for other languages ? But we can write something like "Emails envoyés" or "Msg envoyés" or extend the box function of the text ?

I don't know french, but there's "Envoyés" and "Courrier entrant" in Thunderbird. I think we can use "Envoyés", but what with Inbox (it's long still)? I think, we could increase mailboxlist width ca. 10-20 px more.

This is not an issue since we have got vertical splitter (r1766).
