IE7 can't add attachments

Description

When composing a new message, I can browse and select a new file to attach but clicking on 'upload' merely closes the file popup, as if I had clicked 'close'.

This issue seems only to affect IE (I don't have access to any version other than 7 to hand) and is reproducible on many machines.
