Description
Hi. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I have a question. I'm unfortunately not the admin for our webmail system so I do not know the exact version #, but I can find it if needed.
When I try to open an attached PDF file on my computer, it opens a new browser window, then says "loading data..." and then nothing happens. The PDF never shows up in the window and the "loading data..." wording never goes away. The status bar at the bottom of IE says "downloading" and then "done" and sits there.
I tried opening up my webmail on another newer system (but still using Windows XP and Adobe Reader 8.0) and it comes up with no issues embedded inside the new browser window.
This makes me feel like it's a problem with my computer but I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. I can open normal PDF files from other sites without a problem, it just doesn't work in Roundcube webmail.
If I try to right click and save the attachment from the email preview window, it says,
"Getting file information: / from webmail.xxxxx.com"
And then an error window pops up stating,
"IE cannot download / from webmail.xxxxx.com IE was not able to open this Internet site. This Internet site is not available"
Weird huh? It's not converting the "/" to the PDF file that is in question.
Does anyone know what it is on my current system that is causing this issue? Thank you.
