Description

In safari the "mark messages" button is not working. And is being rendered incorrectly floating above the first messages at all time. An annoying place. Screenshot attached.

I did exactly what you are proposing but I still have this effect. In order to hide the floating options I have to click on the "mark messages" toolbar button and then press "ESC". It appears again after viewing a message and returning to the Inbox.

My Safari version is 3.1.1.

This definitely works for me. I develop with Safari. Maybe some files weren't updated.
