Option to Have Signatures Placed Before Quoted Messages/Forwards

Description

It would be nice if there was a way to make it place signatures before forwards and quoted messages. The default behavior at this time is for signatures to be placed at the very bottom of the message.

This breaks the standard. A signature is supposed to be at the bottom. Most mail clients truncate everything behind "-- ".

Maybe the standard needs to be changed then to reflect user desires, instead of an arbitrary "this is how it should be" decision rendered in some backroom somewhere. But I know better than to go there.

Most everyone I know likes the signature ABOVE the quoted message, because its a pain to scroll down through pages and pages of conversation to dig up a cell, IM, fax number, whatever.

I'm only asking for an option to make it behave this way, the default can be the standards-compliant goofy way. :-)

Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.

Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

Top-posting.

What is the most annoying thing on Usenet and in e-mail?

You wouldn't have to "scroll down through pages and pages of conversation" if you had cut your cited text instead of topposting. It's that simple, unless you've been raised on Outlook.

I would close this bug with status "Will not implement", or even better - "will not outlookize RoundCube".

I don't know anyone who reads e-mails from the bottom up. If you dislike it so much, simply don't use the option. And the most annoying thing in e-mail is HTML mail with its embedded images and colored texts. But RoundCube gleefully supports all that, now dosen't it?

Thankfully, we have an OPTION to turn that off. Thats what OPTIONS are all about. They let USERS decide how to USE the PRODUCT the way THEY want to. Never mind, I think I am wasting my time here.
