"No messages found in this mailbox" does not disappear on new mail

Description

given is a mailbox with no messages.

1) the mailbox receives an email (e.g. mail test|mail -s test@…)
2) clicking "check for new messages" finds the new message and displays it, but the "No messages found in this mailbox" entry does not disappear.
