Loading... does not go away when displaying images.

Description
With SVN r545, when I view an HTML message that has images, and click on the link to display the images, the Loading... progress indicator displays and does not go away. It should go away when the images have completed loading, but does not.
I am still able to click on other emails and buttons and everything else seems to work. When I click on another email, the indicator does go away. The problem returns as soon as I try to display images again.

After more testing, I have identified this only occurs when using the Preview pane. When opening the mail by double-clicking it, this is not a problem. I have confirmed it with Camino 1.1b on Mac, and Firefox 2.0.0.3 and IE6sp2 on WinXP. I have cleared the browser cache to verify that it is not a cache issue.
