Is only possible to search in all fields at the same time, if we can search only by subject, or only by the body message?

  • Component changed from Core functionality to Documentation
  • Keywords search keywords added

It actually is possible but not documented. Just precede the word to search with one of the following keywords: from, to, cc, subject, body.

Here are a few examples:

 from:thomas

or

  subject:foo

By default RoundCube will search in subject and from headers only.

It would be nice to call this an interface feature rather than a documentation bug. Like, have a list of checkboxes for what to search, with maybe subject and from selected by default.

  • Component changed from Documentation to User Interface
  • Milestone changed from later to 0.3-beta

Patch needs testing on Safari and because it adds new labels for translation must wait for 0.3-beta.
