Description
I don't know when it got introduced, but the E-Mail button icons (located at skins/default/images/buttons/mail.png and mail.gif) appear to be corrupted. I had to get them from an earlier version to get clean ones.
I just checked out trunk today (r385) and they're still corrupted.

I suggest we close this issue - if still so someone will log again.
I have a feeling the images are uploaded as ASCII or a local copy is cached as ASCII

I have the same problem, but only with the icon mail.gif. It seems corrupted. See the attachment.

probably just corrupted during svn checkout or loading. if they're really untouched since they were added, this is hardly rc's fault.

I also have seen this problem - but after replacing from the same source it was fixed. Maybe some binary vs. ascii thing
I dont think this is a real issue.
Those images haven't been touched in over a year. They look fine to me in a clean checkout. Can you try a clean checkout?
