Description
I am using Cyrus IMAPd on the server because it has a built-in mail filtering mechanism - Sieve - which pushes the filtering on the server side and therefore makes it independent from all clients.
The other major webmail interfaces that I'm familiar with (Horde and Squirrelmail) provide an integrated tool to manage the Cyrus Sieve filters. For example, Squirrelmail has the Avelsieve plugin which can be installed and works with the webmail interface in a fully integrated way. E.g., when reading a message, one can create a filter on the sender or on the mailing list immediately.
Having something like that in Roundcube would be great. In fact, the lack of an integrated Sieve filter manager is the only thing that prevents me currently from switching from Squirrelmail over to Roundcube, even though the latter has the better interface.

Any updates on this? I am also wanting to switch but this is the only barrier. Would be interested in helping if others were too. Florin, haev you been able to find a workaround, or get a working plugin ?

this is not an issue with RC, but rather a call for a sieve plugin. This is to be coded by the user or posted in the forum as a request

manage sieve API plugin http://www.tehinterweb.co.uk/roundcube/#ptsieverules

This requires the planned plugin-API to be implemented first. Then somebody can start writing a Sieve plugin.
