Apostrophe in eMails are escaped

Description 

I could not find this one yet in the list, but I can
imagine it is somewhere already.
When I write an eMail in french for instance "C'est un
problème d'apostrophe" the receipient get:

"C\'est un problème d\'apostrophe". This appends even
with the last CVS version.
